Independent shop, family owned since 1998. You get the diagnosis, the price, and a straight answer about what can wait until next time.
Most people put off calling because they don't know what they're walking into. Here's what these usually turn out to be, and what they usually cost. If yours is different we'll tell you that too.
Almost always worn pads. The squeal is a metal tab designed to warn you. Left long enough it becomes a grinding noise, and then it's rotors as well, which costs more.
Pads, front axle — $210 to $290Usually a sensor or a loose gas cap rather than anything serious. We read the code for free and tell you what it means before you decide anything.
Code read — freeTypically a CV joint on its way out. Not urgent this week, but it doesn't fix itself and it gets louder.
CV axle replacement — $320 to $480Nine times out of ten it's wheel balance, which is cheap. Occasionally it's a bent rim or worn suspension, which isn't.
Balance and rotate — $65Battery or starter. We test both for free, and if it's the battery we can usually have you out the same morning.
Battery test — freeOften just low refrigerant, but if it leaks out again in a month there's a leak to find. We'll say which we think it is.
Recharge and leak check — $145Typical prices for most cars and light trucks. Parts and labour included. We'll confirm the exact number before starting.
No surprises. If the price changes once we're inside, we stop and call you first.
Tell us what it's doing. No appointment needed for a look.
Usually the same day. You get a written estimate, itemised.
We'll say what's urgent and what can wait six months. No pressure either way.
Old parts kept for you to see. Warranty on everything we fit.
Four bays, two ASE certified techs, and the same owner since 1998.
